Tech work today feels like playing in the playoffs, every day.
It’s game day. All-in. All the time.
So...when do we practice?
I'm not talking about training. (There are plenty of good training options available.)
Training is for a discrete period of time. Practice is ongoing.
Training may not be in your real context. Practice must be.
Training is on artificial problems. Practice is on real ones.
Training is separate from our day to day work. Practice must be part of it.
Even one practice session per week would be a big step up from how most teams work today.
How might you use create practice opportunities WITHIN the work that's already happening?
